Team America

In honor of this upcoming July 4th celebration, I bring to you this amazing vintage stars and stripes button up, available HERE.

I've also composed a little treasury of other patriotic items that are equally as awesome! Check out the treasury HERE and support small businesses, local sellers, and all the greatness that is the USA!

Start of Summer

Went to Austin and made some good memories with great friends. Among other things, I got to hang out with my dear friend, Todd Wolfson. We hung out at our friend Roy's house and had a blissful afternoon at his pool... (photo evidence below!)

Back on the Blog

I've been terrible with keeping up with this blog since I've come back to the States from Italy... but no more! I'm going to try my best to post at least once a week with little bits to share.

Yesterday was fathers day and I think it's only fitting that I pay tribute to him. He's truly the best Dad a girl could wish for. The smartest and most loving and patient man I know. He is a wizard in the kitchen and supports me through all my endeavours. I always told him I thought he'd make a great restaurateur or history teacher, but truth be told, he's just perfect as my Dad :)

I've recently moved out of Austin, TX and back to the suburbs of Houston where my parents live ... in preparation for my move to New York at the end of August! I'm really excited that it's finally happening, something I've dreamed about for ages. Until then, I'm going to enjoy all that Texas has to offer before I leave this beautiful country of a state for the Northeast.

And a few snapshots in lovely Texas this past week.
I'm headed back to Austin for a couple days for a friends birthday, audition, and a shoot. I'll be sure to document along the way :)

Recent Finds.

I was doing heaps of laundry the other day, while I was putting things back into my closet I realized how much stuff I have that I don't wear. I sorted through them and made a little pile of "new" stuff to take to Buffalo Exchange.

They took all but 1 item, hooray! I opted for the cash option instead of trade which was a REALLY wise choice. I took that money and went thrifting! I got some super amazing finds... enjoy!
Vintage Cacharel Blouse. Such an intense blouse, so Queen of Hearts!
This beautiful embroidered coat/jacket thing.
Aren't the details amazing!
Lovely silk pencil skirt by this French Designer... I swear that fitting room mess wasn't mine... !

What I Wore :: World Nutella Day

I woke up in a pretty great mood. I went grocery shopping yesterday, so I was looking forward to a special breakfast at home. I recently found out that it was World Nutella Day yesterday, February 5th, so I figured I may as well celebrate even if I was a day late.

I had 2 slices of sourdough toast with nutella and sliced nanners. Yum.

Went to the University library to read a play for my acting class, finished in it under 1.5 hours! It's called The Sea Horse by Edward J. Moore.

Feeling pretty with a flower in my hair and a one of my favorite scarves, that is on sale in my Etsy shop here.

Oh, and I thrifted this pretty great Panda Bear night gown that was just too fun not to photo. I got it for $1.50 I think and because it had my spirit animal on it, I had to get it! :) Hooray for Panda bears!

Talbots Top, Vintage Denim Jeans, American Apparel Belt, AmandelOe Scarf, Carnation flower.
