Homemade Dinner.

Tonight we drove to Sassuolo, a neighouring town to visit some of the families friends and have a homemade dinner. MMMmmmm, 'twas too good! 

We started off with a chicken pasta soup, topped with cheese. Soup was completely made from scratch. The pasta was homemade and the chicken broth came from the chickens they have in their back yard. 

Then we had these little round breads, served hot, filled with pate and cheese, proscuitto, and even Nutella! Afterwards we had sheep's milk cheese and puff pastry with a German apple filling.  Delightful!
